She has spent the past three years in Singapore, where she has been working with corporates, start-ups and high-profile individuals. Begoña has over 15 years’ experience in communications, public affairs and government relations across Spain, the UK, Brussels and Asia.
A former broadcast journalist in Spain, she worked for three years as Media Advisor to the Spain’s State Secretary of the EU, helping coordinate the communications strategy during the Spain’s Presidency of the EU Council. Begoña has also worked as a media and public affairs consultant in Spain and the UK, advising blue chips companies in energy, security and travel, including among others, UBS, TUI, international hedge funds and OCP, the world’s largest producer of phosphates. Prior to move to Asia, she worked in London for seven years as Media Advisor to Miriam Gonzalez, the wife of the former Deputy Prime Minister in the UK, Nick Clegg.
Begoña has degrees in Journalism and Political Sciences and a Masters in Diplomacy and International Relations.
